This course is designed for parents and anyone working with young people aged 8-18. It provides an important starting point for being able to spot the signs of mental ill health, tackle discrimination, promote open discussion and awareness, and signpost to help. Importantly, the course encourages use of wellbeing resources and promotion of good mental for all of us.

This introductory interactive session raises awareness of mental health and provides an introduction to looking after your own mental health and maintaining wellbeing. It also provides increased confidence to support someone in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issue.
MHFA England values this course at £125 per person. Invincible Me is offering places to primary school staff for £60 per person (with further discount for group bookings of 8 or more from one school; contact email@example.com to discuss).
Following completion of either online course, each participant will receive:
- A certificate of attendance to say you are Mental Health Aware
- A manual to refer to whenever you need it
- A workbook including a helpful toolkit to support your own mental health
Kate Baum is an experienced MHFA instructor and a facilitator for Invincible Me’s whole school wellbeing programmes.
